How much do I love the following things? {Answer: So, so much.} They all have a touch of that colorful, creative whimsy that I want more of in my life, along with puppies and kitties and coffee. {Okay, okay, maybe not more coffee. I'm suppose I'm already bouncing off the walls enough with my normal intake.}
First {above}: The amazing work of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama.
Also:Treetop screenprinted skirts by Made With Love By Hannah ($62), who has so many cute things in her webstore, it was really hard to choose just one. {For example: apple skirts!}
Hannah's store also has a section called "Made With Love By Grandma" (with photo of a cute little lady who I assume is Hannah's grandma), in which my favorite item for sale is the His 'n Hers Panty Potholders ($12). Ack, so cute! {Hannah and her grandma were discovered via discumber.}
And next: These really lovely corsages, though I can't remember where I first saw them and where they are from (anyone? a little help?). Still, too lovely to skip:
Plus: Via Holly B., these wonderful handmade mobiles by Frazier & Wing. I think one would look very happy hanging from my ceiling.
And finally, via the adorable Junior Society: I am totally smitten with the Jar of Whimsies, an eclectic hodgepodge of small and wonderful things ($35). And, when you aren't busy pawing through your little treasures, it makes for a very nice bookend.

I am seeing happy colours!
RL
i received the jar of whimsies in my mail just a week ago. it is really fun to dig around.
That apple print skirt is seriously tempting me to reach for my wallet.
i have been sweating that jar of whimsies for MONTHS now!!!!!! if only my apt (and life) weren't so full of whimsies (or cluttered junk, as Matt refers to it!), I would buy it.
Ha, I actually have my own made-it-myself Jar of Whimsey. I just kept plinking things into empty Snapple jars, and not they're sitting on my desk, for me to play with
Thank you for all the cute links, it's definitely a season of colours and patterns!
