Just My Type

Friday, April 27, 2007

Lately, I have been supremely obsessed with vintage typography. I get on these thrifting kicks, you see, about certain textiles or patterns or pyrex or what have you – and lately, type has been the fixation of choice. I've found a few great things this week to satisfy my cravings… for now.

Graphically inclined kitchenware… drool…

Neat little box (no idea what was inside; I just liked the packaging!):

Vintage popcorn bowl:

Invitations:

Hand-lettering book:

And no, do not ask me how I'm going to get all this back to Singapore. I have no idea!

My friend Cindy has recently gotten me into vintage barware and glasses and I haven't looked back since.

I am in love and I need to go look on ebasy right now.

I got my Victoria's Secret coat and immediately returned it. What did you think? Mine was enormous and it was a small!

Come to Nashville and go shopping here!

Actually, you seem to be doing just fine wherever you are right now!

There's nothing harder than trying to schlep everything you've bought on a trip across the ocean.

That's why everytime I go back to Singapore, I pack only one suitcase, as minimally as possible, and bring an empty one. And even then? It's not enough!!!!

Good luck!
