I was so happy to see one of my favorite vintage shops of all time, Hooti Couture in Park Slope, get a big mention in the NY Times style section yesterday. I was surprised to see it get a little slammed for its customer service – I've always found that Alison and most of the staff at Hooti go out of their way to make sure you're happy and finding lots of vintage fabulousness.
Also: An article on vintage shopping in Brooklyn that consists of two stores? The surface has barely been scratched. (It's barely been touched! I've got a wardrobe full of proof on that.) But congrats anyway to Hooti Couture. May this bring you lots and lots of business, but not so much so that all the good stuff is gone by the time I visit next month.
