Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho, It's Off to Work I Go…

I'm late with the post today because I've been off doing work-type things. And here is what I wore: Vintage flowered dress (the sun has lightened some of the sections, so it has this wonderfully unintentional fading thing going on); basic bag from Coach, always good in a pinch (and my "Thank You for Slaving For Us" gift when I departed one of the magazines I once worked for); the great Zara shoes.

Here's the view I see:

Hello Ms Spinach,

I chanced upon your blog while doing some research. Cant remember on what, hence 'some'. Anyhow, I really like your blog and I love your sense of style. I've always been into vintage, like the styles of the 20s,and 50s-60s. Not so much on the 70s cos Austin Powers just aint as classy as Audrey Hepburn for example. :P Its difficult to find nice vintage styles in Singapore.Even if I do, its too old (i mean dirty cos the shops do nothing to preserve and conserve them) or way expensive. Im also finding trouble trying to pull off the look without looking like i tried too hard. I wish my mum had kept her bags and jewellery from her younger days. Sigh.
