I really need to work on my pose. But much thanks to Daniel for snapping this shot on the way out. {Plus, you get a full-on dress view!}

I am perplexed - everyone seems to have bare legs . . . in Feb. . . . in New York.

And, not sure how I feel about Gywneth's shoes. They look like shoes you change out of when you arrive at an event (I have a bunch of those).

lucky for us, it was a record-high warm day in new york! like 70 degrees! all goose-bumping issues were completely averted.

Gwyneth's dress is not doing a thing for her! Eek.

For a second there I thought you were Maggie Gyllenhall. I love the dress! and it has a bow...yay!

How cool, you look fabulous!

I love this group of pictures, you fit right in, for sure!! Cutest dress ever and I too share an enormous love for bows. Had you seen the dress at your local Steve & Barry's from the design (may you rest in peace) of Victoria on Project Runway? Was it Victoria? She has been gone so long I have forgotten [I think]. Anyway [I get side tracked VERY easily], she has this cute dress out in Steve & Barry stores with a huge bow- sort of a cropped smock dress with a bow for 8.99!! I was so in love I bought one in each color (black and a rust color). It's wonderful. But, again.. sidetracked. Cute picture- and thank you so much for the info. on the location in DE. I appreciate it so much! xo Jen

i really love your dress, especially the bow in the front. katie holmes' and gwenyth paltrow's are wonderful as well.

you're one of the few who rock vintage and carry it off with such pizazz. doesn't matter if it costs next to nothing - it's not about how much the dress costs. i actually love love gwyneth's grey shoes and katie's dress to death. lourdes looks totally like madonna in her 'like a virgin' days - doppelganger she is. think martha stewart was wearing a pair of classic louboutin pumps i so want - wish i could check out the heels. it's one of those shoes i wanna own before i die - i know it sounds crazy but i'm a shoe freak, sue me. thanks for the pix missy spinach

Have you ever realized that when you buy readymade suits you get a choice of only a few colors & styles, also finding the perfect fit are quite difficult? Wouldn’t it be better to choose from over 2000 different British & Italian fabrics and get a tailor made suit at a similar price that you pay for readymade suits?

We are a company based in Hong Kong and have been providing custom made suits & shirts since 1997. With representatives in major cities around the globe we can arrange to show you the fabric samples and take your measurements, or you can also place your orders online with the help of our measuring guide. There are over 2000 fabrics to choose from along with all the latest styles.

All our suits and shirts are produced by highly skilled Shanghainese tailors in Hong Kong and delivered in about 4 weeks, express delivery can be made in 2 weeks at a minor extra cost. In case you are not able to find what you are looking for then please let us know your requirement may it be in words or by a photograph and we could arrange it for you.

We also have an outlet at the Hotel Intercontinental Budapest where you are most welcome to visit us. Though we are not located in streets like Savile Row (London), we have still been able to offer made to measure suits to many VIP’s from around the world.

You look gorgeous! You'd fit in perfectly in the pages of a celeb-filled magazine. As everyone has said the dress is fabulous but I really love your shoes and that wonderful patent clutch. The whole outfit is incredibly chic!

This has to be the most obnoxious, frivolous blog I've ever read. I look at all this time and money being spent by desperate insecure people wishing they were famous and wonder why they don't spend their energy trying to save endangered species or lobby for cleaner energy or something. ridiculous.

Jesus.

I thought *Kenny Surtani* was this post's biggest buzzkill, but anonymous 5:30's self-righteousness totally trumps his shameless self-promotion.

Anon is just trolling on different blogs, trying to get people worked up. S/he should be using his/her time to save the world but instead wastes valuable hours annoying fashion bloggers to get attention. This is why I think (as I said on another blog today) that allowing anonymous comments really isn't a good idea. What great/interesting/insightful comments ever come in from an anonymous? Anyway, great dress/photo but stand up straight, young lady! Your mother told me to say that.

Ms. Spinach said...

ha! thanks, guys. it's my first truly negative comment, which i guess is kind of a rite of passage in blogging. i celebrated with an ice-cream sandwich.

*did* my mom tell you to say that? because that's exactly what she's going to say. i've been waiting around all weekend for the admonishment. : )
