OK, so I've been to Stitch DC three times now (thankfully, they are really friendly and also conveniently located between the highly browsable duo of Anthropologie and Barney's) and I think I'm finally ready to tackle my much-anticipated knitting project. Er, again.
Ideally, I'd like to finish my cowl before, say, it gets too warm to wear. So for a little extra motivation, I'm filling my head with the gorgeous designs at Pip-Squeak Chapeau (like the amazing chunky neck warmer above, $108), discovered via Fabbergasted.

Good luck! I've just finished a cowl myself, but I want to make another, chunkier one like this. I think you'll find the chunky yarn and stockinette stich on circular needles fairly easy - no purl stitches! Can't wait to see what you come up with!
oh yes! i LOVE this and posted about it on my holiday gift guide. it is so thick and cozy. xo
I was equally in love with this whole cowl thing an bought one in Brooklyn at Five to One.
I am also selling two in shop, so please stop by. NataJane makes some delicious pieces!

Pip-Squeak Chapeau has beautiful knits, they had a holiday shop in Bryant Park this year, and should be back next year.
