Mackenzie has put us in serious stripey mode today with this starkly graphic yet oh-so-feminine Tracy Reese dress. Love the hint of sheerness in the bodice and the classic, full-skirted shape.
here's a weird Q: seeing that you've written that you're an overspender. What's your opinion on credit card debt!? live with it or never have it? sigh. i love the lifestyle, hate the bills.
This dress looks amazing. Love black & white. I saw something like it at a store in town and I'm thinking of buying it and wearing it to Oslo Fashion Week. Great blog btw -linking you under recent favourites :)
So I went to Spin Ceramics in Shanghai, and it's so great! I wanted to buy everything, but didn't because it's fragile and I traveled with a backpack. It was so much more reasonably priced than I thought it would be considering how beautiful the pieces are. The showroom is really nice too, it was heated and comfortable and no one hassled me to buy something. Some of the artists/ceramic maker people were hanging out at a table and talking about worky stuff, that was a nice touch. They're real people! Making beautiful objects! Thanks for the recommendation.

That's really great; the layered/burnout/whatever effect is exceptional. The crino bottom edging is so cool.

i LOVE this! I was JUST reading about how sheer items are sexy w/out being too "much".
love this- can barely breathe!

pair this dress with your umbrella, and it's like 'look out world!'
I prefer the version with the sheer part being white/cream; but this is pretty too. I have the other one in an inspiration book I keep.
Ah, Audrey. Lovely. Now she just needs Gregory Peck on a Vespa.
But then - don't we all.
I love everything about that dress!
