Dear Fairy Godmother,
Just in case you were thinking of waving your magic wand and buying us a present, we wanted you to know how much we love this Orla Kiely printed shift dress from Anthropologie. (It's $288, and therefore out of our rational budget at the moment.) We'd happily pick lentils out of the ashes for it. Also for her Greenberries laptop tote, just so you know.
And just in case you want to throw in a really cute top while you're at it, this Madison Marcus ruffled tie top from Girlshop really does it for us too.
{Update} Several shopping-savvy readers have pointed out that the Orla Kiely dress is marked down to $149.99 in Anthropologies stores, with an additional 40 percent off all sale items. An Orla Kiely dress for $90? Looks like my fairy godmother may have come through after all.

Accidently stumbled onto your blog, and I absolutely love it! Your blog has become one of my favs. I really like Orla Kiely's luggage too.
I was going to say the same thing. Anthropologie is currently having a sale where they are offering %40 off of all sale items in the store for a limited time. The dress is marked down to 149.95, so you would get it for an addition %40 percent off of that price. You might be able to work out a way to get it. If you call the catalog, they can tell you which stores have your size. However, I don't think they would ship out of the US, but they might. I find that the sales people are helpful and accommodating.
OMG! That would make it like... ... $90! (yes, I had to grab a calculator.) I'm pretty sure I can't resist. Must go speak with Santa. : )

Anthropologie is usually out of my budget too, their stuff is so cute but not worth the jacked-up price in my opinion. It's at times like this that I wish I could sew, a seamstress could make this dress easily I'd think.

I spotted a polka dot dress by Orla Kiely selling at US$186 in Anthropologie, Columbus, Ohio. A lovely and simple dress at a dear price. Kind of regretting for not buying it. Anyway, you have such a delightful and informative blog. Kudos to you.
