Phew. And yay!

Remember that time that I decided to hold a vintage sale, and I was worried that no one might come, and then *everyone* came, and I had the best time ever? Welcome to my weekend!

First and foremost, a huge thank you to all who came over, from near and far, to Proper Topper Georgetown this weekend to shop the Spinach Vintage sale. I met so many cool, fun, adorable vintage lovers -- it was beyond my expectations. (And many, many thanks to the kind crew at Proper Topper for hosting, serving cookies and champagne, and keeping the verrrry long dressing room line in perfect order. And also for stocking the very awesome Ikks dress I bought at the end of the weekend in celebration.)

If I can uncover some more cool vintage -- sigh, it is getting harder and harder to find good, affordable vintage these days! -- we are absolutely going to do this again. In the meantime, some snaps from the weekend! I took almost nothing back home with me at the end, which means I expect to see a lot of adorable, vintage-clad gals around town this spring!

Thanks again for coming out. You all really made my whole weekend.

This looked like a sensational hit. Congratulations! Hope I'm near D.C. next time you're hosting a pop up.

Cheers.

I wish I could have made it. Your vintage pieces are to die for. You should just open a shop. Please and thanks.

That was loads of fun! I came back with a fairly large amount of pieces and all for under $60! This was awesome...maybe you should move again? Just Kidding :) And what do you know? I wore one of the scarves today!

how I wished I could've been there. I wish you would an online shop but I doubt I would be fast enough even there!

Congratulations to me - I am the happy owner of two of the fabulous scarves pictured above. What a great time!

Well, I'm glad the dress/jacket found a home. It was gorgeous and deserves to be worn. Here's to hoping I find something similar one day (or can afford to have one made for me).

Damn - I knew that I should have come earlier - although I still got lovely things, those floral bangles would have made me oh so happy! That was fun - will post my pix today.
