A Reason to Wake Up on Mondays

I am 12 hours ahead of the U.S. East Coast over here in Singapore, which means two things: 1) We get a number of calls in the middle of the night from people who haven't discovered the benefits of a world time clock yet. 2) Monday mornings are particularly bad, because it's pretty much the only day that there is no fresh content on websites from back home. Every other day of the week, I'll spend a good two hours trolling the web and catching up on what everyone's been talking about when I'm asleep. But Mondays here mean Sundays back home and – not that I blame anyone or anything – nobody has gotten around to updating their site. Except Post Secret, which just may be my favorite website of all and only updates once a week, on Sundays. I try to save it to have something to look forward to Monday morning. It's so wonderfully, heartbreakingly honest that I had to go and buy the book too.

Sometimes, it's good to know that you are not the most messed up person in the world.

I wasted every birthday on him, every one.

And I still do.
